We can also manufacture our product globally. We have traveled the world to identify key partners that can produce products to our exact spec and allow us to scale globally and support domestic manufacturing as needed. 1999 | Meridian kiosks is founded by Chris Gilder. His vision to focus on self-service innovation and build reliable, robust and integrated solutions remains true today.
2006 | Meridian opens a new 13-acre headquarters in Aberdeen, North Carolina, bringing design, engineering, fabrication, assembly and integration all under one roof.
2009 | Meridian acquires King Products & Solutions to create one of the largest end-to-end self-service providers in North America. 2010 | Meridian launches Mzero Software, providing clients the ability to secure, monitor and enhance their kiosk deployments.
2011 | Meridian opens the first Self-Service Technology Center (SSTC) in Bentonville, Arkansas. The state-of-the-art facility showcases the latest in cutting edge technology from Meridian, HP, Microsoft, Intel, and Storm.
2012 | Meridian provides custom solutions to over 1,000 clients including many leading brands (e.g. Fedex, Walmart, Belk and Accenture) and reaches record high sales growth of over 30 percent.
2013 | Meridian continues to build partnerships with the sharpest minds in technology including Intel, HP, Microsoft, Zebra, Storm Technologies and niche technology companies. Meridian can now manufacture and integrate its solutions across the globe with seven integration facilities.
2014 | Meridian expands its headquarters in Aberdeen, NC, opening a new 12,000 sq. ft. administration building and making room for large scale deployments in retail, hospitality, transportation, healthcare and government.
2015 | Meridian expands MzeroPlatform by launching MzeroCreate. MzeroCreate provides a suite of developer tools that allows full-customization of Meridian’s industry-leading platform.
2016 | Meridian expands its software offerings by launching off-the-shelf software applications, MzeroInterAct, MzeroPay and MzeroDirectMe. MzeroInterAct is a highly configurable and easy-to-use, interactive digital signage software application. MzeroPay is Meridian’s multi-use bill payment application, and MzeroDirectMe is an interactive building directory application.
